In My Spare Time

Caleb has started to pull himself up on everything.  The first time he pulled himself up was over Memorial Day weekend.  Since that time, nothing is safe.  He is still learning that he needs to hang on...he has learned a couple times that if he lets go he will fall over and possibly get hurt.

Measuring spoons and measuring cups can keep Caleb entertained for hours.  On this particular day, Caleb sucked on this spoon most of the evening. "Every where that Caleb went that spoon was sure to go".

The blue cube has Caleb's toys in it.  Since he has started pulling himself up, he will reach into the cube and start pulling toys out until he finds one he likes.

Heading to help Mama with the laundry.  Until we put a gate up to block this hallway (the basement is on the left), Caleb would constantly go down this hallway and always stop at the laundry room.  I'm glad he has such a high interest...I will enlist him to fold clothes in the near future :).

Caleb does a great job of finding enjoyment in every day items, an umbrella and a dowel.

"When is Dad coming home?"  When the front door is open, Caleb enjoys watching the leaves blow on the trees, the squirrels running in the yard, and the cars driving by on the road.  He will even crawl out the front door if you let him!
