Andy and I decided to tackle the garden area in our front yard yesterday. Caleb enjoyed playing in the grass until Andy brought the rototiller out...then Caleb was VERY interested in the machine and wanted to go where it went. Needless to say, that was in the dirt. We tried to redirect him several times; however, it was no use - he just wanted to play in the dirt. Thankfully not a lot of dirt went in the mouth. :)

A proud dad watching his son explore. Several smiles did come across our faces as we watched Caleb learn something new about the world.
Caleb liked to take fistfuls of dirt, lift them above his head and then drop the dirt and watch it as it fell. He became very dirty doing this but boy did he like it!
